Counselor Zhong Jie pointed out that in the past year of 2023, political mutual trust between China and Cambodia has deepened, practical cooperation has accelerated, and cultural exchanges have flourished, bringing tangible benefits to both peoples. The year 2024 has been jointly designated as 'China-Cambodia Year of Cultural Exchange' by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Hun Manet, marking a new chapter in cultural exchanges between the two countries. Kratie University is the first public comprehensive university in northeastern Cambodia and a landmark project funded by China’s free aid to Cambodia. It not only fills a gap in higher education in northeastern Cambodia but also provides strong support for improving Cambodia's national education system and infrastructure development. The continued funding from the Chinese government for expanding Kratie University will lay a solid material foundation for further development.

Secretary Touch Visalsok expressed deep gratitude for the selfless assistance from the Chinese government and people. He stated that China has long been concerned about Cambodia's development, helping to build and expand Kratie University again. This is a strong implementation of Prime Minister Hun Manet's 'Pentagon Strategy' phase one and Prince Hun Sen's 'One Province One University' policy, which will bring new vitality to educational resources and economic development in Kratie Province as well as throughout northeastern Cambodia.

Zhongyang Construction Group actively responded to China's Belt and Road Initiative by joining Jiangxi's overseas enterprise strategic cooperation alliance in 2016 to officially go global. The group has undertaken numerous 'high-tech' projects both domestically and internationally, winning three Luban Awards—the highest honor for construction quality—and over 500 quality engineering awards. Moving forward, Zhongyang Construction Group will meticulously organize projects with a responsible attitude towards both governments as well as Cambodian youth and children while ensuring civilized construction practices.
