On July 29, the kickoff meeting for the standard "Modified Bamboo Reinforcement and Modified Bamboo Fiber for Structural Use," edited by Zhongyang Construction Group, was successfully held. Cheng Donghui, Deputy Secretary-General of the Building Materials Branch of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, Xu Qiuhua, Chief Engineer Consultant of Zhongyang Construction Group, Gu Lixiang, Chief Engineer of Beijing Zhongbiao Green Building Engineering Design Research Institute, as well as experts and leaders from participating units such as Nanchang University, Donghua University of Science and Technology, Nanchang Engineering College, Jiangxi Provincial Building Materials Research and Design Institute, Jiangxi Provincial Architectural Design Research Institute, Zixi County Urban-Rural Construction Service Center, and Jiangxi Xiongyu Group attended the meeting with nearly 40 participants. The meeting was hosted by Cheng Donghui.
Deputy Secretary-General Cheng Donghui announced the official establishment of the drafting group at the meeting and elaborated on the relevant regulations and requirements for standard writing. Subsequently, Xu Qiuhua reported on the preliminary preparations and initial plans for standard preparation. During the meeting, the drafting group engaged in in-depth communication and discussion on core topics such as the draft standard, outline, task division, and preparation progress plan. After thorough consultation, the drafting group clarified work division and progress plans for each stage to lay a solid foundation for smooth advancement in standard preparation.
