On April 23, Chen Kesheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Gandong College, along with Party Committee members and Vice President Cha Jinxue, and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary Wei Wengong, led a delegation of 11 people to visit Zhongyang Construction Group for research and guidance. They held discussions on the progress of the new campus construction project of Gandong College. Chen Shengde, Chairman of Zhongyang Holding Group's Board, and Li Jian, Executive President of Zhongyang Construction Group, accompanied the visit.

Chen Kesheng and his delegation visited the corporate exhibition hall of Zhongyang Construction Group to gain a detailed understanding of the group's development history, industrial layout, technological innovation achievements, etc., and highly praised and fully recognized the comprehensive strength of Zhongyang Construction Group.

During the discussion, Chen Kesheng pointed out that the construction period for Gandong College's new campus project is tight and the tasks are heavy. Zhongyang Construction Group has demonstrated excellent construction technology levels and standardized project management capabilities. The second phase project not only completed its comprehensive topping-out phase on schedule but also adopted prefabricated new technology in multiple buildings to improve construction efficiency and quality. To ensure project progress, it is hoped that Zhongyang Construction Group will continue to manage quality, safety, and progress strictly at the construction site, reverse schedule tasks effectively, seize favorable construction opportunities currently available, accelerate project construction speed, and ensure timely delivery.

Chen Shengde stated that the Gandong College new campus construction project has a large workload and a tight schedule. To ensure smooth completion of construction tasks, Zhongyang personnel embody the spirit of craftsmanship from Lu Ban and demonstrate a fighting style that does not fear hardship or shy away from tough battles. They work through winter's cold and summer's heat while charging ahead to tackle challenges head-on. They have worked overtime to catch up on schedules and achieved a comprehensive topping-out milestone victory. In future work, Zhongyang personnel will continue to adhere to their corporate mission of 'integrity first, quality foremost, innovation as key focus,' maintaining an enterprising attitude to complete all tasks for Gandong College's new campus project with quality assurance.

The Gandong College new campus construction project is located north of Donglin South Avenue in Fuzhou City’s Donglin New District and east of Huiguang Avenue. The total investment for this project is 1.49 billion yuan with a total building area of 323761 square meters divided into two phases: Phase I covers an area of 99083 square meters while Phase II covers an area of 224678 square meters. It consists of 31 buildings along with one basement level as well as outdoor municipal works, landscaping projects, scenic engineering facilities etc. Among these structures are public teaching buildings, engineering training centers, public laboratories, college buildings administrative buildings dormitories which are prefabricated constructions with an assembly rate no less than 50%. Currently phase I is in its finishing stage while phase II has topped out entering its decoration stage. Once fully completed this project can accommodate over ten thousand teachers and students playing an important role in promoting high-quality development for the school.
