China-Zambia diplomatic relations have been established for 60 years. In order to further strengthen the economic and trade relations between China and Zambia, promote deep and practical cooperation, and achieve high-quality development, the China-Zambia High-Quality Development Forum was held on May 15 at the Zambia International Conference Center. Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. The Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, Du Xiaohui, Zambian Minister of Commerce and Trade, Mulenga, along with 18 cabinet ministers and over 1,000 representatives from Zambian government departments, parliament, political parties, local organizations, international organizations, and more than 200 enterprises from both countries attended the event. At the meeting, Chen Shengde, Chairman of Zhongyang Holdings Group's Board of Directors, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Agricultural Technology Cooperation on behalf of Zhongyang Zambia Ecological Agriculture Industrial Park with the Chinese-aided Agricultural Technology Demonstration Center in Zambia.

Zhongyang Zambia Ecological Agriculture Industrial Park is a modern ecological agriculture industrial park invested and constructed by Zhongyang Group in Zambia covering an area of3,000 hectares. It has pioneered cooperation between Jiangxi and Zambia in the agricultural field and is also a new model for China-Africa agricultural cooperation. The park always adheres to the concept of 'diversified development with ecological priority' and is committed to creating a modern agricultural industrial park that integrates planting industry, breeding industry, food processing, good seed research and development, agricultural science education exchange, and leisure tourism.

Both sides will fully leverage their respective professional advantages to strengthen cooperation in various aspects such as seed resource protection and improvement, agricultural technology research and application, agricultural product processing and value enhancement, soil improvement and special breeding technology. This will continuously enhance production technology and management levels in the park to ensure local food security while promoting the modernization process of Zambian agriculture. This aims to achieve both economic benefits and social benefits while opening up new prospects for China-Zambia agricultural cooperation.
