On the morning of December 27, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fuzhou new campus construction project of Donghua University of Science and Technology, undertaken by Zhongyang Construction Group, was held. All participating units must strengthen project management by implementing chart-based operations while enhancing supervision during project implementation to ensure timely completion with excellent results to boost the university's 'Double First-Class' initiative.

Sun Xin stated that Donghua University has been rooted in Fuzhou for 64 years and has made significant contributions to high-quality economic development in Fuzhou by fully leveraging its talent resources. The construction of the new campus is a vivid practice in implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directive on 'solidly promoting education as a strong nation' and is part of major decisions made by Fuzhou Municipal Committee and Government to implement talent-driven strategies while addressing shortcomings in higher education to further strengthen urban development. Our city will provide quality services for project construction. It is hoped that Donghua University will take this opportunity to firmly support local economic development with intellectual resources while providing strategic support for national development. In his speech Chen Shengde mentioned that after successfully winning the bid for this project，the group conducted thorough planning，established a strong project management team，equipped it with solid technical capabilities，and invested advanced construction equipment，ensuring high standards are met throughout all phases while maintaining quality control during completion. At the same time，we are willing to accept supervision from government agencies as well as relevant industry authorities，comply with on-site management from both construction units and supervisory units，conduct our work according to laws and regulations，and carry out civilized standardized operations striving for excellence in engineering quality while assisting Donghua University in building itself into a 'millennial academy'—a first-class institution.
