On the morning of May 10, the founding conference of the Lichuan County Labor Model Association and the first member meeting was held on the fifth floor of the county administrative annex building. Leaders attending the meeting included Song Dongfang, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; Zheng Jinfeng, County Party Secretary; Wan Guohui, County Mayor; Song Xiaofeng, Deputy County Party Secretary; Zhang Junhua, Chairman of the County People's Congress Standing Committee; Gan Wenhua, Vice Chairman of the County People's Congress Standing Committee; Li Youhua, Vice Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions. Finally, Zheng Jinfeng, County Party Secretary proposed three requirements for effectively utilizing labor models and their association: first, lead with thoughts to fully play a leading role by key labor models; second, pave paths with actions to sincerely provide good rights protection services for labor models; thirdly pave roads with results to continuously enhance management service levels for labor models. At the same time, it is necessary to be practical in offering suggestions while fully utilizing advantages from within associations as well as industry characteristics actively reflecting opinions and suggestions from labor models and broad masses to county party committee and government for contributing ideas towards economic social development.
